Olds :The Olds is finally getting some attention. We got the headers all completed and I am in the middle of re-doing some plumbing and some little odds and ends. Oh, ya.... a new powerplant too! Stay tuned!! |

Ford The '10 year is on it's way after a couple of outings. It looks like the trans problems of last year are gone, and we are well on our way to getting this thing figured out. The changes over the winter have helped resolve all of the open issues with the car, and it's working well. Every outing we're learning a lot and picking up major. We are planning on hitting all of the NMCA races this year, so come on out. |

We broke the 200mph barrier...... now for the 6's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We just got back from the NMCA race at Joliet. Great facility and event. We're continuing to tune the Ford and turn up the wick. We qualified with a best ever 7.20@200. Still a little off the pace, but it's in one piece and there's a lot left in it. First round I got into a scenario where I was spooled on the starting line for an extended period of time, overheated the trans, and lost as a direct result. That will never happen again...... It's all in one piece and everything checks out fine. It's at least good to drive it in the trailer. We're learning and picking up on average a tenth and 5mph every outing. We'll get there for sure!! Big thanks to "Uncle Paul" this weekend for the help and Competition Transmission for turning me around a piece that is working great!! So...... again, off for some testing to prepare for the the NMCA race in Charlotte! Dave |
